Intro
This bungalow has been extensively reconfigured and refurbished, to suit a young family’s needs and become a bright, generous, and delightful home.
The existing garage blocked any possible connection to the garden from the kitchen, it was replaced by a dramatic double-height dining / sitting area with a large opening formed through the existing rear wall to link with the reconfigured kitchen. Carefully positioned openings, capture views and light throughout the day, and enable the room to spill out onto the garden.

All works were designed around a strict budget - what was feasible / cost effective, with regards to re-organising the existing structure - whilst ensuring all rooms and spaces where fit for their new purpose.
Downstairs, two large separate living spaces are formed, along with two bedrooms and ancillary functions.
Upstairs two new bedrooms are created, one with a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite, all under the existing roof.
High levels insulation are added to significantly improve performance, reducing heat loss and running costs, and improve year round comfort.
